This rounds off Century Wings Desert Storm release. This is the A-7E Corsair II painted in a temporary scheme post Desert Storm. Its a very bold scheme and I think it looks very nice. The Desert Storm lettering on the wings does seem a bit tacky to some. The only complaint I have with this release is that the lens of the FLIR pod is not painted. But I'd rather not have the FLIR pod loaded anyway.

Here's a model which I find doesn't get as much attention as it should. Its a great model and a great scheme. Part of the 'Desert Storm' set of releases, this is the A-6E Intruder. It comes with the standard loadout of 12 bombs and 2 shrikes. Though I would prefer 12 bombs and 2 ext fuel tanks or 24 bombs. Though for a realistic loadout, I removed the 2 inner bombs closest to the wheel doors with a knife. So essentially its a 10 bomb 2 shrike loadout. Nevertheless, I like the scheme as we seldom get modern low viz schemes.

Another Century Wings VF-84 Tomcat, this time it features a Desert Storm Homecoming scheme. VF-84 is undoubtedly the most famous squadron associated with the F-14. I guess everyone likes to see the skulls and crossbones on the tail. This is a very nice release feature the CAG bird with black and white markings. Though personally I would prefer VF-103 in black and white markings.
